Chemical Peels have been used effectively for years and are a highly popular way to improve the texture and look of skin. Sun exposure, acne or just good old-fashioned aging can leave your skin tone uneven, wrinkled, spotted or scarred. If you want your skin to look smoother and younger, consider a Chemical Peel, which uses a chemical solution to smooth the texture of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers. This forces your skin to rebuild and restructure itself in a healthier, stronger way than it could before doing the Peel. Chemical Peels are used primarily on the face but they can also be used to improve the skin on your back, neck and hands. At Kenlee’s Skin Shop we always treat “neck up” which includes chemical peels. The face receives the strongest treatment steps but everything is blended into the neck. Later we will apply additional solutions on the neck if it is appropriate.
Kenlee is highly trained in the art of skin peeling and has invested years in the research, understanding, and fine-tuning of various methods used for the chemical peeling of the skin. She specializes in performing custom layered and custom blended peels that will fit what your skin can tolerate, and promote changes that will help you achieve your individual skin care goals.
Kenlee’s Skin Shop classifies our unique peels into one of two levels:
Light to Mid-Range Peel: includes a combination of 3 or less different peel solutions and is commonly used when someone is starting to work on their skin or for maintaining their skin progress. Skin will have visible peeling and they may be “light” but they are not for wimps!
Mid-Deep Peel: includes 4 or more different peel solutions and/or is using ingredients that require an extremely high skill level and knowledge base. Stronger level peels will have more visible peeling and the possibility of increased discomfort over several days during the course of the peel. Mid-Deep Peels cannot be performed unless they have received approval from Kenlee.
Chest Peel: Designed to soften lines and lift pigment in the chest region. This is an area that collects a lot of sun and environmental damage during our lifetime, especially with the cut of women’s tops (i.e. v-neck, scoop neck). This is a great treatment to prevent premature aging and to reverse signs of aging that are already visible.
With all peels you may experience anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks of downtime. Peels cannot be performed on a first time visit and should be part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
Light-Mid: 30 – 50 minutes – $100/$150
Mid-Deep: 30 – 50 minutes – $150/$200
